Premise[]
This serial is about how a hard-up expat Duncan Kavanagh scrapes a living as a private English tutor and by showing tourists around the ancient Coptic churches of Cairo, but since the revolution, work has dried up with tourists in short supply. When seductive Canadian student Tara asks him to deliver a letter to a prominent Egyptian politician, he soon finds himself navigating a complex web of secrets and misinformation as a new Egypt struggles to realign itself in the world.
